The house that community built is an experiment in tiny house construction. I began this project in my friend's back yard. As a practice in natural building, this tiny building integrates straw bale, cob, wattle and daub, and light clay straw building methods. Much of the work has been done by friends donating their time and often expertise.

This building is made from natural and reclaimed materials, including cedar posts reclaimed from a deconstructed barn; roofing material salvaged from an old dilapidated building and the scrap metal yard; bamboo, clay and straw harvested locally. I am grateful for the many hands who have participated in this passion project of mine.  If you are interested in participating in a future workshop or work party, contact me.

Join us for a work party the weekend of September 22nd, 23rd & 24th!
