Open heart-mind studio is a practice in sustainable community development. It is my desire to cultivate a sustainable life, one in which I can sustain myself through making a positive contribution to my community. I offer these practices which I hope will foster individual health and well-being, promote community connection and protect the earth upon which we depend. Practices include teaching qigong and tai chi which are beneficial for both physical and mental health; building with community and natural materials which is good for people and the planet; facilitating, coordinating and collaborating with community in ways that I can be helpful.
